About Arena Civic Theatre
Arena Civic Theatre is a non-profit community theatre organization
located in Greenfield, Massachusetts. Founded in 1970 by Ann Christern, ACT produced a full summer season at the Franklin
County Fairground’s Roundhouse from 1971 through 1986. Beginning in 1987, ACT tried out several new venues before becoming
a resident company at the newly renovated Shea Theater in Turners Falls in 1990. ACT currently produces
up to three shows per year at the Shea, and also participates in the annual Western Massachusetts Community Theatre Association
Drama Festival. |
