About Auditioning

Arena Civic Theatre invites you to audition no matter your level of experience with theater. In general, open auditions are held four months prior to the production date. Depending on the director, auditions usually consist of reading lines from a script.

If a musical, be prepared to sing a song. You may bring music or sing a song from the production for which you are auditioning. If dancing is required for a role, a choreographer may demonstrate steps and movements to be recreated by you.
